Barbara Anthony, Undersecretary of the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation
As I get settled in my first week as Undersecretary of the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, I wanted to take a moment to start my own conversation here at our blog.
I’m very excited for the opportunity given to me by Governor Patrick and Secretary Bialecki. I’m looking forward to working on the bread and butter issues that matter to consumers, and I want to use this space to find out not just what’s on your mind, but also help you find solutions and information about the things that are important to you.
I’ve spent my career advocating for consumer issues, and in using the bully pulpit on behalf of consumers’ welfare. I know that millions of consumers in Massachusetts make important decisions every day on things like car insurance, finding the right licensed professional, protecting your personal financial information from identity thieves, and navigating through financial service products like credit cards and mortgages.
If you have something on your mind, feel free to include your question or comment in the comment section here. As we work toward building an active blog community here, I look forward to seeing what’s on your mind, and sharing our thoughts and information on those issue. Thanks for reading, and thanks for participating.
