On to the UK! Yesterday, Governor Patrick and members of the delegation arrived in the United Kingdom and were greeted by British Consul General Dr. Phil Budden at Heathrow Airport. Today is their first full day in London. Here’s a quick rundown of the day’s events.
8:00 am | Governor Patrick and members of the delegation receive a welcome briefing from the United States Ambassador to Great Britain Louis Susman.
9:00 am | Governor Patrick leads a roundtable with delegation members and business people from the UK on opportunities in the IT industry at the London Stock Exchange. Click here to learn more about the roundtable, below is a photo of Governor Patrick addressing the group.

12:00 pm | After meeting privately with Ambassador Susman, Governor Patrick and Dr. Andy Heyes, Director of Education at the Imperial College Energy Futures Lab, participated in another roundtable event focused on increasing collaboration in the clean energy industry.
2:30 pm | The Governor toured Lloyd’s of London and Lloyd’s Market, meeting with the company’s CEO Dr. Richard Ward.
4:30 pm | Governor Patrick and the delegation finished the day with a Financial Services Industry roundtable event at the City of London Corporation.
