Here’s a rundown of day two of the Massachusetts Innovation Economy Partnership Mission. The Governor and the members of the delegation remain in Tel Aviv, Israel.

8:15 am | Governor Patrick and the delegation started the day by meeting with members of Israel’s Venture Capital Community to discuss Massachusetts’ strong business climate and opportunities for private investment.

8:30 am | The Governor and members of the delegation moved on to a roundtable discussion with members of the Israeli Real Estate Investment community about the opportunities available for real estate investment in Massachusetts.

9:00 am | After the roundtable, the Governor toured the Anti-Fraud Command Center at the office of EMC RSA, the cyber security division of Hopkinton-based company EMC. Immediately after the tour, the Governor joined members of the delegation representing Massachusetts’ tech sector and Israeli executives in a forum to discuss mutual growth opportunities in the high tech industries.

10:00 am | Following the forum, the Massachusetts delegation traveled to the Israel offices of GlassHouse Technologies, a global provider of data center services headquartered in Framingham, Massachusetts. The delegation toured the company’s facility and debriefed on the morning’s forum, following up on possible opportunities for partnership.

1:00 pm | The Governor and members of the delegation spent the afternoon in two more roundtables with delegation members and their Israeli counterparts, discussing specific opportunities for growth in the clean energy and life sciences sectors.

6:30 pm | In the evening, the Governor met with United States Ambassador to Israel James Cunningham and joined the entire delegation for a welcome reception hosted by the Ambassador at his residence.
