CANTON, MA, DECEMBER 8, 2015….Finding ways to make sure Massachusetts residents get the skills and training they need to get good paying jobs is one of the biggest challenges facing the state.
The Health Care Workforce Transformation Fund was established in 2012 as part of Massachusetts’ healthcare cost containment legislation – an effort to reduce healthcare costs while improving quality of care in Massachusetts. Recently Lahey Hospital & Medical Center was awarded a Health Care Workforce Transformation Fund Grant to train medical assistants.
