On April 12, 2020 student officers of Plymouth Police Academy’s 68th Recruit Officer Course dedicate their physical fitness training in honor of Fallen Officer Sergeant Sean Gannon, Yarmouth Police Department. On April 12, 2017 K-9 Officer Sergeant Gannon was fatally shot while assisting serving a warrant at a Barnstable, MA home.
