You’ll note a slight uptick in the rate of flu-like illness in the latest weekly flu report, indicating that flu season is gearing up as it usually does at this time of year. The good news is that there is still plenty of time to protect yourself and your family from flu and the serious health consequences that it can cause – call your doctor, your local board of health or your local pharmacy and make an appointment to get a flu shot!
