Weekly Flu Report, December 30, 2016
John Jacobhealth communication writer and editorFlu Facts
The last weekly flu report of 2016 shows that rates of flu-like illness have risen over the past seven days. This is typical for how flu season tends to happen in New England, where we usually see peak flu rates in February or even March. That means there’s still time to get a flu shot and protect yourself as we head into 2017. Call your health care provider or local board of health, or visit a pharmacy near you. And best wishes for a safe, healthy and happy New Year.
