This week's flu report shows continuing increases in flu-like illness in the state, which is to be expected as flu season starts to gear up.

This week's report also coincides with National Influenza Vaccination week, which is December 5-11. It's an annual reminder that getting a flu shot is the single best way to protect yourself and your family from the flu. We don’t usually see the peak of flu season until February or even March – so there’s still time to get your flu shot. And this year, there’s more vaccine available than ever before. You can search for a clinic in your area on this easy-to-use flu vaccine locator, or contact your health care provider.
