This month’s Public Health Council meeting featured a series of presentations and discussions on proposed amendments to regulations, followed by informational updates on select Department initiatives.

First the Council received updates from the Department on the status of proposed amendments to regulations related to:

Following those presentations, the Council took up a request for final promulgation of proposed amendments related to Radiation Control. After a discussion, the Council voted to approve the amendments.

Finally, the Council received informational presentations on the Department’s activities in the area of Performance Management and Quality Improvement, and the introduction of a groundbreaking new Wellness Guide for Cancer Survivors which is now available to Massachusetts residents.
