Commonwealth Avenue Bridge construction, 2017

MassDOT is hosting two Public Meetings for the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge Replacement Project as follows:

Monday, May 21, 6:30 PM, Morse School, Auditorium, 40 Granite Street, Cambridge, MA

Wednesday, May 23, 6:30 PM, Boston University College of General Studies, Jacob Sleeper Auditorium (Lower Level, Room 129), 871 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA

MassDOT and project team staff will describe the Summer 2018 Construction Shutdown from July 26 – August 11 in more detail, review detour routes, and respond to questions. During the shutdown, there will be significant service impacts to all modes of transportation along Commonwealth Avenue and the BU Bridge in the BU/Saint Paul Street/Cambridgeport neighborhoods and on I-90 (Mass Pike).

The same presentation will be delivered at both meetings, so participants may choose the most convenient date or location.

Download the meeting flyer for more information.

Please visit the project website for more information, to view detour routes and maps, and to sign up for email alerts.

Please share this advisory with anyone you think may be interested in the project, and encourage them to sign up for email alerts for traffic updates and meeting announcements.
