MassDOT E-ZPass outreach efforts are adding new customers at an unprecedented pace. More than 39,000 new E-ZPass transponders have been issued since All-Electronic Tolling began on the Tobin Bridge on July 21!
Tolls on the Tobin are collected electronically through the E-ZPass transponder or via a “pay-by-plate” system, where an image of a license plate is taken and an invoice will be sent to the address listed on the vehicle registration.
The E-ZPass Team is visiting communities listed below in the next several days. Please stop by. You may also join E-ZPass online, Mass.gov/EZPassMA or by phone, 877-627-7745. Transponders are also available at Registry of Motor Vehicles branches and from AAA.
