MassDOT state highway message boards during the weekend of April 20-21, 2013 offered messages of unity and thanks following the events of the previous week.
Today, Monday, April 22, the I-90 Exit 22 Copley ramp has reopened to traffic. Copley Square-Boylston Street area streets remain closed until further announcement by the City of Boston.
The MBTA Copley Station remains closed until further notice with Copley Square area bus routes still diverted. Check mbta.com for the latest information.

18 minutes ago near Needham Heights, MA .I drive the 50+ miles to and from Gloucester/Newton every day along the 128/95 corridor and am shocked and sickened by the build up filth, clutter, litter, car parts and dead animals that is NEVER cleaned up. The MASS DOT and citizens who litter should be ashamed of themselves. That’s my Earth Day rant and I’m sticking to it! ————————————————————————- Thank you for your comment. Highway district crews in April have begun the annual spring effort to sweep across all state roadway areas and pick up litter and debris often left behind or shielded by snow and road materials applied during winter.
