Traffic Camera Burlington October 31, 2011MassDOT crews today continue work in response to the weekend October winter storm, including treating state roadways for icy conditions, clearing roadway debris, and monitoring traffic intersections where power outages are affecting traffic signals. 

Crews will respond to icy spots this evening and overnight.  Please exercise caution during the evening and morning commutes.

As of midday Monday, the following state roadways are closed or impacted due to downed trees or power lines:

Russell – Rte 20 at Rte 23 Westfield Rd.

Monson – Rte 32 south of Cedar Swamp Rd to CT Line- Restriction on Trucks.

New Salem – Rte 20- now partially open to traffic in both directions

Boxborough – Route 111 at Harvard TL

Grafton – Route 122 – detour in place

Haverhill – Rte 110 at Whittier Rd. remains closed.
 
Other state transportation status updates include:

MBTA-  Commuter Rail Operations were affected during Monday morning's commute by downed trees, including the Fitchburg, Haverhill, and Worcester-Framingham Lines.  Watch for updates for the evening at www.mbta.com

Amtrak reports normal operations on the Northeast corridor.  Boston Logan International Airport reports normal operations.  The Steamship Authority, Woods Hole, is conducting normal operations.  Regional Transit Authorities are at or near normal operations with isolated detours caused by downed trees/road closures.
