i-91-viaduct-study-jpgMassDOT has scheduled a Public Information Meeting on the I-91 Viaduct Study as follows:

Wednesday, September 12, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM, Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel, Mahogany Room, 2nd Floor, One Monarch Place, Springfield

This is the third and final public information meeting on the Interstate 91 (I-91) Viaduct Study. The I-91 Viaduct Study is a conceptual planning study to develop recommendations for a long-term vision for  I-91. MassDOT initiated this study to identify existing issues and evaluate alternatives for improvements to the I-91 corridor from US-20/Plainfield Street to the Connecticut state line.

At this meeting, the project team will present an overview of the draft recommendations and the Draft Final Report. The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about the recommendations and provide feedback.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) in conjunction with Boston Properties (NYSE: BXP) is pleased to announce that new operational and safety improvement modifications have been implemented at the Route 128/Interstate 95 Interchange 43A (Old Exit 27A)/Third Avenue ramp in Waltham. The purpose of this transportation improvement project was to redesign this heavily traveled interchanges and the immediately surrounding area to improve existing traffic flow operations, to enhance safety for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists, and to provide improved access for the future mixed-use development of up to 1.85 million square feet located within the adjacent CityPoint and 1265 Main developments.
