Traffic Snow 2015Travel with caution and use public transportation if possible today, Monday, February 2. Check the following information regarding today’s winter storm:

  • MassDOT has deployed more than 3,300 crews treating and plowing snow for the morning commute.
  • The Braintree-Boston HOV lane is closed today, Monday, February 2, due to the weather and road conditions.
  • Registry of Motor Vehicles Branches are open, with the exception of the Nantucket Branch, which is closed.
  • All RMV road tests are cancelled for today, Monday, February 2.
  • The MBTA advises that buses will replace Mattapan Trolley service between Ashmont and Mattapan stations from start to end of service on Monday.
  • MBTA  customers are prohibited from parking overnight at any MBTA station parking lots on Monday, February 2. Overnight parking in MBTA garages is permitted from 5 p.m. on February 1 until 5 a.m. on February 3.
