MBTA Walking Sign The MBTA is partnering with WalkBoston to blend the healthy transportation modes of transit and walking between North Station and Lechmere as a pilot project.  Currently, the Science Park/West End and Lechmere stations are under construction and temporarily closed.

During the construction at Science Park/West End and Lechmere stations you can check out the signage and maps to determine your best travel option.   The shuttle bus and the walk take the same amount of time; however, the walk provides 15 minutes of activity towards your daily physical activity recommended by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Mass in Motion.

This is a MassDOT GreenDOT initiative.
