The Bus Stop Access law signed by Governor Deval Patrick in January took effect this week. 

Preventing a bus from getting to the curb is unsafe for riders and bus drivers.

The law intends to maintain access to all public bus stops and carries increased fines for vehicles parked illegally at the stops.  Learn more at the MBTA website here.
