Bay State Bike Week Sponsors, MassDOT, MassBike and MassRIDES look forward to celebrating another successful Bay State Bike Week across the Commonwealth this May! This year’s events are scheduled for May 10-18.
In 2013, approximately 14,000 people participated in more than 175 events held across the Commonwealth.
Bay State Bike Week is an annual celebration of human-powered, two-wheeled transportation. Massachusetts is the only state in the nation with a truly statewide bike week. Bay State Bike Week has grown from a small number of organized rides to a variety of events including film screenings, bike breakfasts, festivals and more. Organizers collaborate with local advocates, bike shop owners, and others who travel by bike.
To plan an event in your community to engage new riders and promote the benefits of cycling for recreation and transportation, check our web resources.
Specific event participation and registration information will be posted on the Bay State Bike Week website: http://baystatebikeweek.org/
