MassPike E-Traveler MassHighway 511

In time for the Labor Day weekend, Transportation Secretary James A. Aloisi, Jr. today announced MassHighway's 70 live traffic cameras are now available for public viewing on the agency's 511 website. MassPike unveiled its live traffic cameras on its E-Traveler website before Memorial Day. 

MassHighway live cameras show traffic on I- 93 from Somerville to Canton, I-95 from Westwood to Wakefield, Route 3 from Burlington to the New Hampshire border and the mainland side of the Sagamore Bridge in Bourne.

Labor Day traffic on the MassPike is heaviest Thursday and Friday westbound and Monday afternoon-evening eastbound.  Cape Cod-bound traffic is heaviest early Friday afternoon. MassHighway will provide message boards near the Sagamore and Bourne bridges.

Compliments of McDonalds and Gulf, free coffee will be served at the 11 MassPike service plazas along the Turnpike on Monday night into Tuesday morning, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.
