The Executive Office of Transportation and the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority announced a series of initiatives to improve Pike travel and customer service.  Responding to Governor Deval Patrick's directive, the steps are intended to mitigate congestion at toll booths during high-traffic periods and further expand Fast Lane use.  

Transportation officials pledged to put in place staffing plans for holiday and other high-traffic weekends to minimize lengthy delays.  Learn more here
