MassHighway Commissioner Luisa Paiewonsky joined MassHighway District 2 Director Albert Stegemann and local officials at the bridge opening.
The $60 million bridge project is one of the state's largest to date. The original bridge is now closed for rehabilitation. When that is completed, both bridges will serve the Westfield area along Routes 202 and 10.
