MassDOT Opens Next Round of Industrial Rail Access Program Grant Applications

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that it will begin to accept applications on Thursday, May 20, for the FY2022 Industrial Rail Access Program (IRAP). The program supports projects that increase access to freight rail service and preserve or stimulate economic development through the generation of new or expanded rail service which will reduce truck traffic on our roadways, thereby reducing congestion and greenhouse gas emissions.
