Median Deck Section at I-93 Bridge over Riverside Drive

The Methuen Rotary Project to replace the rotary with a new interchange continues to show progress in spring 2017.

MassDOT is transforming the Methuen Rotary area. Major improvements at the I-93 and Route 110/Route 113 Interchange, also known as the Methuen Rotary, are replacing the rotary with a partial cloverleaf interchange. The reconfiguration will address traffic congestion and safety issues.

During the month of March 2017, construction continues at the I-93/Routes 110 and 113 Interchange where MassDOT has removed the rotary. Activities include placement of median concrete deck sections at the I-93 bridge over Riverside Drive along with work on barriers, utilities, drainage and lighting.

Area residents and travelers should expect work hours during the daytime on I-93 along with nighttime work between 8pm and 5am.

Single lane closures can be expected between 5:30am and 2pm, with double lane closures during overnight hours between 10pm and 5am.
