Springfield I-91 Viaduct BannerMassDOT has scheduled a Public Information Meeting for the I-91 Viaduct Rehabilitation Project as follows:

Tuesday, December 8, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Basketball Hall of Fame, Theater, 1000 Hall of Fame Avenue, Springfield

Please join MassDOT for an update on the major construction and road closures that will begin in December 2015. The project Joint Venture, White-Schiavone, will provide details on the construction activities, lane and ramp closures, and detour routes. The presentation will conclude with a question and answer session.

MassDOT is undertaking the Interstate 91 Viaduct Rehabilitation Project to replace the existing deck of the bridge, which is in poor condition. The project is the result of several years of planning and valuable input from a wide variety of stakeholders. It will progress on an accelerated schedule to reduce traffic impacts and minimize construction duration. The project will reduce annual maintenance costs, increase safety and accessibility on this busy interstate, and ensure long-term serviceability.

Please visit the project website to sign up for email alerts and learn more about this important project. For questions or concerns, please email the project team at I91viaduct@state.ma.us or call 617-454-1839.
