Springfield I-91 Viaduct BannerThe Springfield I-91 Viaduct Rehabilitation Project team is excited to announce the launch of MassDOT’s new and expanded project website.

The website features a fresh design and new content on the following pages:

• The Construction page has a thorough description of the project’s construction stages.
• The Traffic page contains the latest information on current and upcoming detours and closures.
• The Project Overview page includes a more detailed schedule and general information about the project.
• The Documents page holds all of the project’s detour maps, presentations, and other documents of interest.
• The Project Team page introduces our contracting team and specialty subconsultants.

The $148 million I-91 Viaduct Rehabilitation Project will replace the existing deck of the I-91 viaduct and progress on an accelerated schedule to minimize traffic impacts and reduce construction duration. The completed project will increase safety and accessibility on this busy interstate, reduce annual maintenance costs, and ensure long-term service.

The website will be a central source of information during viaduct construction. We encourage you to check out the new website and send us your feedback.
