i-91-viaduct-study-jpgThe Draft Final Report for MassDOT’s I-91 Viaduct Study is now available. The I-91 Viaduct Study is a conceptual planning study to develop recommendations for a long-term vision for I-91. MassDOT initiated this study to identify existing issues and evaluate alternatives for improvements to the I-91 corridor from US-20/Plainfield Street to the Connecticut state line.

The Draft Final Report includes the following key sections: Study Goals and Objectives; Evaluation Criteria; Alternatives Development and Analysis; Draft Final Recommendations; and Short and Medium-Term Alternatives and Implementation.

We encourage you to review the Draft Final Report and submit your comments via email, letter, or by phone. Comments on the Draft Final Report will be accepted through Wednesday, October 10.

As a reminder, MassDOT is hosting the third and final Public Information Meeting on the I-91 Viaduct Study:

Wednesday, September 12, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel, Mahogany Room (2nd Floor), One Monarch Place, Springfield, MA

At this final public information meeting, the project team will present an overview of the draft recommendations and Draft Final Report. The public is encouraged to attend to learn more about the recommendations and provide feedback. You can download the meeting flyer in English and Spanish.
