Green Line Extension employees are serving the local communities of Somerville, Cambridge and Medford through a new charitable service group, the GLX Community Connection Team.
Employees from the GLX Program Management Team and GLX Constructors combined their efforts to support local community shelters. Employees in both organizations participated by donating food, clothing and toys for families in need of assistance during the holiday season.

Community Connection Team at Youth on Fire, Cambridge
Team members filled three vehicles at GLX headquarters for delivery to shelters. Employees donated food and also worked in the kitchen preparing meals at Youth on Fire in Cambridge, a day shelter facility for homeless youth, ages 14 to 24.
Thank you to the GLX Community Connection Team for their efforts! Check the GLX project website for information about Green Line Extension progress.
