RMV_LogoMassDOT’s Registry of Motor Vehicles Division is preparing for a busy week at branches across the Commonwealth. All offices will be closed in observance of Presidents’ Day on Monday, February 17, 2014.
With the shortened week, school vacation, and annual Presidents’ Day car sales promotions, Registrar Celia Blue is expecting an influx of customers at the RMV’s 30 branches and is encouraging customers to perform their transactions, if possible, online at MassRMV.com. Approximately three dozen transactions may be performed online.
A facilities issue today forced the Danvers branch, located at 100 Independence Way, to close. The branch will remain closed through next week and RMV employees assigned to that location will be deployed to handle customer transactions at other branches in the region. Branch and service alerts are posted regularly on MassRMV.com.
