freight-plan-bannerMassDOT’s Freight Plan is a strategic planning document that will define a short and long-term vision for the freight system in Massachusetts and identify solutions to current and future challenges to the freight system.

The first Open House for the Massachusetts Freight Plan has been scheduled as follows:

Thursday, January 26, 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Union Station (Union Hall), 2nd Floor, 2 Washington Square, Worcester

At the Open House, the public can learn about and discuss freight issues and trends with industry experts, and provide input on the Freight Plan development. As part of this effort, MassDOT has also convened a Freight Advisory Committee. The first Committee meeting will take place immediately before the open house on January 26 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location and is open to the public.
