Bay State Bike WeekBay State Bike Week is just a few days away! Every May, Massachusetts residents and bike commuters come together to celebrate human-powered, two-wheeled transportation during Bay State Bike Week. This year, the week-long celebration is taking place from May 14th- 22nd.

Throughout the Commonwealth, participants organize bike-centric events to encourage new riders and raise awareness about the many benefits of bicycle transportation, so make sure to register or join an event if you haven’t already.

I’m Ready to Participate! What’s Next?

Visit BayStateBikeWeek.org to find an event in your community or to host an event. But hurry- May 14th is right around the corner, so you’ll want to register an event soon. So far, there are 96 events taking place all throughout the state. From bike safety talks in Somerville, to organized group rides in Northampton, all of our Bay State Bike Week events have something for all kinds of riders!

We also want to remind you of the daily raffle prizes we are giving away during Bay State Bike Week. Make sure to sign up for a chance to win these prizes and learn how to get rewards all year long through NuRide!

The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is cautioning customers to be aware of a text phishing scam that has been reported here in the Commonwealth and in other states. The scam reportedly involves customers receiving text messages, claiming to be from the “DMV,” that direct them to click on a provided link to update their personal identifying contact information.
